Worm race competition in conjunction with Independence Day festivities. People
have come from around the world to compete, and from many walks of life,
including senators and congressmen. In 1980, NBC had television cameras from the
show "Real People" to film the races. Camera crews from "Animal
Planet", CBS and "Bay Area Back Roads" have joined in the fun
